Lords of Dogtown is one of the greatest movies because it shows the year and the cultural relevance in the movie all at once. It shows how in California the new skateboarding revolution was started just from a simple invention. Urethane skateboards wheels are the start of every famous to every skateboarder in general and this movie shows how it all started from the beginning. Lords of Dogtown was set in a time and place where drought ditching school and fires where all up the alley. The fires in southern California at that time brought all the water and resources to be limited or have already been rationed to be limited.
