Pearl Harbor - Romantic/Dramatic by Nick

My choice in the greatest romantic movie of all time is Pearl Harbor. This movie is everything in one dramatic, actiony, and even loveable. The movie is great because they have the greatest actors and actresses that really show off what the movie was about. The movie is so dramatic because it talks about Pearl Harbor one of the most devastating days in American history and will be for along time now. Keeping this movie in line is defiantly the action in it. It keeps it from being boring and has the dramatic romance of dieing in it with love and passion also in there.
Pearl Harbor is a romantic movie because in it the nurse played by Kate Beckinsale falls in love with the soldier played by Ben Affleck. The two fall in love and when the soldier has to move on a mission in Britain the two kinda spilt up. Then the dramatic news the soldier dies in action but returns to find his best friend together with his girl. Dramatic or not this movie is one of the best ever made and I just wanted to show some of you that it is.

Bad Boys by Brett

This is by far one of the best movies I have ever seen. This is being compared to movies such as the great film The Godfather, and action packed movie all based on mob stories in the earlier years of the 19th century. As well as the great Jurassic park films and I personally think that it is better than the Dark Night batman film. These two films are ranked in the top 10 of all time. So with this movie being better then that would have to put Bad Boys 2 in at least the top 5 movies of all time.

The story line of this great flick takes place in the Cuban islands where the bad boys, Martin Lawrence and Will Smith try to take down a drug boss and his crew. This thriller has funny comedy and great action scenes. Although parental discretion is advised so make sure you are wearing earmuffs or are 17 or older. I’m sure once you see this movie you will agree with me.

Casino Royale by Challis

The movie Casino Royale in my opinion was one of the best James Bond movies because it was all of the other old movies combined into this one movie. This movie is an action packed movie full of shooting, insane driving scenes, nice cars, beautiful women, nice houses, and most of all, the main character James Bond. For all you action packed movie lovers this movie will definitely fit your needs. Even if you like mystery stories about how something happened or why someone did something to someone else this movie is for you.

If you like to watch someone loose lots of money this movie is all for you. Now, why do I say this well I guess you will to watch and find out.

Juice by Andre

One of my favorite movies of all time is Juice. This was an excellent movie from start to finish. "Juice" is about 4 inner-city teens that get caught up in the pursuit of power and happiness, which they refer to as 'the juice'. The four main characters include Q played by Omar Epps, Bishop Played by Tupac Shakur, Raheem played by Khalil Kain, And Steel played by Jermaine Hopkins. The four friends decide to rob a convenient store in the near by neighborhood after Q competes in his dj contest. During the robbing Bishop decides to shoot the store owner after he pleads for his life. They freak out and run to a back ally way where Raheem tries to take a 22 from Bishop they get into a scuffle and Bishop shoots Raheem. Then they go back to the Dj contest and the police come in and take the three remaining friends in for questioning. They get away and later attend Raheem funeral were Bishop acts like nothing happened and even hugged Raheems mother. This upsets Q he decides that he is no longer cool with Bishop even though they were friends since the second grade. Bishop gets into an altercation with a neighborhood gang and q and steel don’t help, bishop spots them walking the other way and is furious he shoots the gang leader then invites steel to go to a pool hall that they always hang at. He takes steel to the back and shoots him. Now Bishop sets his sites on Q he chases Q into a party then they go on to the roof and fight knocks bishop over the edge and grabs his hand but it slips and Bishop dies.

Out Cold by Lester

My favorite movie of all time would be Out Cold. I like the whole theme to it its all about joking around and snowboarding. I like the tradition they have. A whole group of friends meet up on top of a mountain (ski resort) with a full glass of beer. The goal is to make it to the bottom of the mountain with the most beer in the glass wins. And is called KING OF THE MOUNTAIN. What I like most about the movie is how people keep their traditions for snowboarding and their home mountain.

The reason why this is my favorite movie is because I can relate to it in all ways. I love doing stupid things with my friends same with the gang in the movie. I love to snowboard any day I can and the whole theme to this movie is about snowboarding and doing what you love and that’s what I live through kinda like my motto.

We Are Marshall by Ken

My favorite movie of all time is We Are Marshall. It’s about the aftermath of a plane crash that killed all the Thundering Herd football team in 1970. After the tragedy, president of the athletic program, Donald Dedmon leaned forward to indefinitely suspending the football program, but was persuaded to reconsider by the Marshall students and fans. Dedmon hires a new young coach, Jack Lengyal to take over and rebuild the team in a short amount of time. He had a new team of 18 returning players and walk-on athletes from other Marshall sports programs.
This is one of the most emotional and inspirational movies I ever saw. It stars Matthew McConaughey as Jack Lengyal and David Strathairn as Donald Dedmon. I’d say its better than all the other sports movies that are based on a true story.

Step Brothers by Ryan

When this movie came out I was not really sure what to expect but that it was going to be pretty darn funny. I mean, almost anything that Will Ferrell has been in has been epic and now that he was reuniting with John C. Reilly for the first time since Talladega Nights, I had to see it. When I went to see it I quickly found out that it was going to be everything I could have hoped for and a little more. It had a little of everything being drama, action, romance, and of course tons of comedy.
During the movie at some parts I would be laughing so hard that my stomach would hurt and I would be crying. For example, when Farrell put his junk on the drum set. That was pure comedy. Or when the two went for their job interviews, I almost peed my pants I was laughing so hard. And because I don’t want to give the movie away those are just two of the many great parts. I recommend anybody with a good sense of humor see this movie.

He Got Game by Elbie

One of Elbie's all time favorite movies would have to be hands down He got game. It is one of the best sports movies of all time in my opinion; it is based off Ray Allen’s life and growing up in the hard streets of Coney Island. It is also one of my favorite movies also a big part because Ray Allen is one of my favorite basketball players, and directed by Spike Lee can’t go wrong! He plays a character named Jesus Shuttlesworth who is the top recruited high school basketball player in the nation. His father worked and trained with him very hard and harsh that is the reason he is so good. One night Jesus’ father and mother got in an argument and his dad accidentally killed his mother. In his senior year Jesus is forced to MAKE THE BIGGEST DECISION OF HIS LIFE! On what college he will attend. His mother always told him homework and education was the most important thing so he took that to heart and wants to go to a good educated college, not just for basketball. It’s basically about the opsticals he must over come to get to his destination. Great movie Highly Recommended.

The Goonies by Deandre

My favorite movie is the Goonies it’s about a group of kids that find a treasure map in the attic so they go look so they map out a plan and go searching for the treasure. The map leads them to the bad guy’s house because that’s where the treasure was located at. On the way to the treasure they run into captain sloth a guy that they came across and knew what they were looking for so he was like a body guard to them on there journey to finding the treasure.
Goonies is my favorite movie because it was a good all around movie it was funny it had a plot to it and the characters were perfect and funny and it just a little kids dream to go look for treasure and that movie made that because it through everything that had to be done to find it. At the end of the movie they find the treasure and by finding it help them because there little town was going to be knocked down .and that’s my favorite movie

The Proposal by Audrey

The other night as I watched The Proposal with my friends I decided that it was one of my favorite chick flicks of all time. The Proposal is so witty and has many different types of humor for people of all ages. Ryan Reynolds and Sandra Bullock have a lot of chemistry on stage that keeps you on the edge of your seat laughing hysterically.

Betty White completes the movie. Watching an elderly woman dance in the forest, with Sandra Bullock to a rather derogatory modern day hip hop song is humorous to anyone who watches it.

Casting Ryan Reynolds was very smart on the director’s part. Reynolds is appealing to every woman in the world and definitely keeps the movie much more exciting to watch. Reynolds is cast as an innocent man, vulnerable to the wrath of Bullock. The scene when Bullock is convincing the immigration officer they are married makes for a very good time. The interaction between the two is intense and funny at the same time.

How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days by Renee

Everyone enjoys a good love story. Girls are inspired by it, but when Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey get together to make a movie, they don’t stick to any old classic love story, they go for more of a comedy when it comes to romance.
Ask any girl who is one of the ‘hottest’ actors is, and Matthew McConaughey will most likely come up. McConaughey and the gorgeous Kate Hudson made amazing chemistry in their film How to Loose a Guy in 10 Days.
Adding a twist to the regular romance, they add something that was new to Hollywood films. While most love stories are tear- jerkers, Hudson and McConaughey were hilarious but still made the audience have attachment to them hoping they would end up together.
Two of the cutest actors in Hollywood getting together to make a film must mean that it’s a good movie. When Andie Anderson, Hudson, finds out about Benjamin Berry’s bet that he can get any woman to fall in love with him and Ben finds out about her “How-to” columnist, things get fired up. Hudson and McConaughey have so much chemistry together making the film amazing.
For anyone that wants a cute comedy romance, How to Loose a Guy in 10 Days is the perfect film that you can watch over and over and still be able to love the characters.

The Dark Knight by Tyler

The movie the Dark Knight directed by Christopher Nolan, is one of my favorite movies of all time. It consists of a lot of action and also puts in some comedy to make it even better and enjoyable. Action is one of my favorite types of movies and The Dark Knight surely holds up to my expectations. It is a sequel to the other movie “Batman Begins.” Nolan the director got his inspiration for the film was the Joker's comic book debut in 1940, and the 1996 series. The film came out july 18, 2008 and it was only the second film to earn more then 500 million dollars.
The plot of the movie is in Gotham City, and the Joker robs a bank with some of his companions. After they successfully do that the Joker eliminates his friends taking it all for himself. The whole idea of the movie is for Batman to stop The Joker and his mod from continuing his act. I highly reccomend action packed viewers to go and see this movie so they can expreience this movie hands on.

Urethane skateboards wheels are the start of every famous to every skateboarder in general and this movie shows how it all started from the beginning. Lords of Dogtown was set in a time and place where drought ditching school and fires where all up the alley. The fires in southern California at that time brought all the water and resources to be limited or have already been rationed to be limited. That’s how the bowl Lords of Dogtown is one of the greatest movies because it shows the year and the cultural relevance in the movie all at once. Bueller? Bueller? Bueller? by Marque

Ferris Bueller’s day off (1986) is one of the most memorable comedies from the eighties and still a popular, young comedy trio of Matthew Broderick, Alan Ruck, Mia Sara. Ferris Bueller decided to skip school and have a day of leisure in downtown Chicago with his girlfriend and his best friend. Breaking laws and causing chaos shows that having a good time and being around the ones you love is the underlying the most important thing you can do in life.

Faking that he is sick to get out of school, Ferris Bueller has trouble as the dean of students, Ed Rooney, is trying to hint Bueller down as knowing that he is skipping school to just be a punk. So he devotes all his free time to hunt Bueller and his gang down, even though it shows to be a waste of time and that even though he thinks that he is the smartest man on the earth he can be schooled by a senior in high school.

Ferris Bueller’s Day Off just goes to show you to have a good time while are on this earth cause life is short and you should take the time to check it out.

Don't Let This Movie Disturb You by Kolby

Before this movie hit theaters I didn’t really have too much of a motivation to see it, but after being persuaded by a friend I realized this was an amazing movie. This movie has everything! Adored actors and actresses such as Shia Labeaouf and Sarah Roemer, a breathtaking and suspenseful storyline, Great soundtrack, curious character and an evil next door neighbor as the bad man. This movie has all aspects it needs to make a good scary movie. There were a few moments in the theater where I could see what was coming next but that still didn’t stop me from jumping once it happened.

This movie, if any, has very few boring parts. The screen was either filled with action, suspense or romance during the whole movie. This movie has no need for a sequel, everything was explained very clearly and my excitement was at an all time high. If Sarah Roemer isn’t enough to keep your eyes glued to the screen then I guarantee that the storyline will. If you haven’t seen this movie I highly recommend it. One of my all time favorites.

Night at the Roxbury by Robbie

Out of the all the movies I’ve liked and enjoyed, Night at the Roxbury. It has Chris Kattan and, in one of his first movie hits, Will Ferrel. The two together is probably one of the best combos I’ve ever seen, and I was literally laughing the entire time no matter how many times I watch it. Their stupidity and humor goes perfect together. In the movie they are brothers, but they are grown adults still living at home off their parents’ money going clubbing every night.

The pure immatureness of the movie it what makes it. The boys live and work for their Beverly hills millionaire dad, while the only thing on their mind is girls and clubs, that’s where the humor comes from watching grown men act like complete children in the goal into maybe one day having their own club. When they go to the club the dance and hit on every girl, and get suit down every time. Its funny watching them get turned down because they where super cheesy silk suits and dance by bobbing their head to the side all funny. That’s why I love this movie.
