Cameron's 1st Basketball Game (by Kearney)

Last Wednesday, we took Cameron to his very first high school basketball game! I was nervous at first because I didn't know how he would react to the crowd noise, buzzers and all of the lights.

He was a bit nervous at first, but then he saw the actual game going on and was so excited! He sat on our laps and cheered himself the whole game!

It was a good game, Smoky vs. Arvada. Smoky won with some good efforts by Phil, Jai, Mike and Nate.

Something else that happened during the game: Some Arvada kid fell down and Mike went to help him up. Apparently this offended the Arvada kid, and he proceeded to try and fight Mike. Nice. Well, the kid got kicked out of the game and pouted on the bench for the rest of the game. Also, number 5 on Arvada was the biggest whiner, and whenever he would foul someone, he would look at the bench and make a "Who me?" face. Lame, he was fouling up and down the court pretty much every time.
